The bill (Reg. No. 6612) amends the Laws "On Restoration of Debtor´s Solvency or Recognition of Debtor´s Bankruptcy", "On Licensing of several Types of Economic Activity", and "On Insurance" to enhance the bankruptcy proceedings, and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements and the Criminal Code to strengthen the responsibility of insolvency officers (asset managers, financial rehabilitation officers, and liquidators).
The Committee members believe that implementation of the bill will take action for timely and efficient restoration of solvency of state-owned enterprises and companies, the statutory fund of which has a state-owned share exceeding 25 per cent.
